Source Favourite ways to make a healer cry/hate you.

Eluneaurora		So I ran with a group today (no names) and so many things just killed me. I understand new 80's learning the heroic game but it drove me nuts. Here are a few things that make this tree cry/hate:

Ignoring the OOM Macro. I took a long time trying to make it friendly yet concise. After three fights of not paying attention to this beg for tea 3 people faceplanted. Sorry.

Life tapping yourself to death: Life tap is a vital part of warlocks. It was my first class and I understand that. What happened to telling me you are going to life tap? I panic when I see your life drop to 20 that fast. When you do it repeatedly it makes me really want to stop healing you.

Actively trying to steal aggro from the tank because you wanted to be the tank. Uhm, face plant.

Expecting the healer to dps down her own adds. Waves of zombies+squishy tree=wipe.

Inviting a healer (that advertises in trade/lfg channel as a healer only) then asking her to DPS. For the last time, I heal ONLY. I advertise this since I duel spec'd but don't use it.

What really makes you angry as a healer?
Him: So you actually like frozen evil Popsicles?
Me: I say nothing.
Me 2min later: What's wrong with that????

I'm sure others have experienced this too, but you can tell when someone is only watching healing meters because they tell you that you aren't doing your job if they don't see you at the very top. That's when you know they aren't paying attention to your spec or what you've been asked to do as a part of the group whether it's just spot/raid healing or focus healing/damage mitigation.

I agree, it's really aggravating in raids, especially for priests because back in the day, many I raided with bubbled party members to cut down on raid damage while I sat back and chain/lesser healed. I ended up being fairly high on the meters due to only doing raw healing and that of course sparked QQ from all sorts of angles. . .


I don't know about others, but I personally love the synergy between the healing classes and how well they overlap with each other. Being the top of the meter isn't what makes me happy. A healthy group or raid at the end of a fight is. I welcome the banana beam. ;)

I do get a kick out of the people who pull aggro on trash and die then keep poking the healers for a rez just to make the healer rage on them.

And just for the record, I don't do this, I have good relationships with my healers.
