About Us
Damage Networks is a guild that has been around since before the
release of World of Warcraft. A few core players have been in this
guild since its inception. We consider ourselves a group of very good
friends that enjoy progressing through this game together. During
vanilla WoW, this guild accomplished top 20 US Kel'thuzad kill. While
those hardcore days are long gone, we are still an established and
respected guild, being the best alliance guild on the server. We
consider ourselves as laid back as hardcore players can be and expect
our applicants to perform likewise.
Applicant Expectations
- You must have an advanced understanding of how to play your class: Proper enchants and gems on your character is mandatory.
While we understand that there are plenty of places to find number
crunching information about your class, we are mostly concerned about
performance. Under perform and you probably won't fit in this guild.
- You must remain focused and attentive for long periods of time : During our progress, we push through content for many hours and expect every raid member to keep the same level of performance. Constant AFKing and spacing out while assignments are being handed out is not acceptable.
- You must be able to accept criticism: While we don't consider Damage Networks a stressful raiding environment, sometimes criticisms will be given and you need to be able to accept them. Anyone is allowed to tunnel vision every now and then and getting called out on it cannot bother you.
- You must understand that a player on the sit list is also a raid member: Even our oldest raid members sometimes sit on encounters due to raid optimization. Being asked to sit can't bother you and complaining about it will not get you far in this guild.
- You need to have a stable internet connection and good hardware: We have a handful of great players with bad computers/internet connections and we'd like to keep this number to a minimum. Constant disconnects/computer issues are something we can't look past.
- You must be open minded: Our members are mostly 18 . We are very easy going and you will get along with us if you aren't easily offended. Unnecessary whining and complaining is usually not tolerated.
- We use ventrilo during our raids: While a microphone isn't required, having one is always a plus. Knowing when to use it is a plusplusplus. Our ventrilo environment is very laid back and casual, especially during trash clears, but you need to focus once assignments are being handed out.
We use our Sitlist FREQUENTLY during raids, so don't be disappointed if you are asked to sit out occasionally.
