On Cooldown is a progressive raiding guild that focuses on conquering the latest content. The guild has gone through vast reconstruction maintaining the name and name alone. We have renewed our vision, our relationships, our leadership and our goals. We as gamers maintain the utmost respect for one another be it friend or visitor, and have zero tolerance towards any form of disrespect. Unlike some guilds, we do not run operations with an iron fist. We realize that everyone is important to one another and should treat each other as he or she would want to be treated.
We are currently recruiting for exceptional players in every class.
What do we expect from our players?
* Attendance: First and foremost those whom wish to raid will need to pay attention to calendar invites of the raid nights. We raid four nights a week during active progression Monday through Thursday from 8pm to 11pm Eastern Standard Time. Preparation for raids will begin 15 minutes prior to the raid start. If there are situations where a raid runs slightly later than usual, we more than understand our fellow players? real everyday responsibilities. We are looking for those who are willing to maintain a strong attendance for those of you who accept invitations.
* Skill: When it comes to skill, we want to know if you are able to play your role while paying attention to environmental hazards. Are you able to adjust in an emergency without panic and losing focus?
* Gear: No matter how well you are able to time your buttons, the gear that your character wears is not an asset if you have not spent the time and care it needs to be properly gemmed, enchanted, hit-capped, etc. Your gear directly enhances your performance. The effort you put into your gear, reflects your effort you put into raiding.
* Intelligence: We want to know if you?re smart. Will you learn from your mistakes, or will you make the sames mistakes twice? Are you capable of evaluating a situation as it plays out and make the right decision on the fly? Can you play multiple specs effectively? These are specifically what we look for in our applicants.
