Lol @ Reskinning for classes. That makes me sad. It means that Druids and Rogues are going to share the same graphic. Judging by the trend set in WotLK, Druids will have a green/brown/yellow version of the armor, and Rogues will have a blue/purple/black version. You heard it here first! ; ;

I think I'd rather stick with T8 on my shaman even if the stats are a bit lower (although I know I'll change).

Am I the only one to think the T9 Warlock set looks very, very bad? First, we looked like Ronald McDonald on Mardi Gras. Then in Nemesis, we looked cool. Then we looked like sand people. Then we looked like...shadowy glowy, spooky versions of Spider Man. Then we looked cool and evil again, three times in a row. But this? How does that set look Warlock-ish? Even Dreadmist was better, in a way.
Ugh. Gonna stick to my T8, thank you very much. >.>

The problem IMO comes from the fact that the 3 sets are to be used by priests mages and locks, and looking demonic would not be good for P or M.
I hate the shoulders. They just seem so huge and unclothy.

Agreed, the shoulders look strange on the cloth set. Shaman set isn't bad, but it looks more like a level 80 blue dungeon set than something you'd find handed out to the most prestigious champions assaulting Icecrown.

I think that these sets are great. The fact is that the Argent Tournament is preparing us for a march on Icecrown. Why would you want an army to look completly different from one another, this tier is giving us a sort of uniform but still keeping some difference between classes. And dont say anything about the shoulders being unclothy. If you look at any cloth shoulders they arnt clothy. See http://www.wowhead.com/?itemset=646 thats also not clothy but no one cared.

Is it only me or do all the sets look so generic. Nothing cool or stylish sticking out.

Should have it done Saturday.

Blizzard just banned my forums account for calling them lazy about the T9, among other things. Blizzard should move to China, their attitude towards freedom of speech is pretty much the same as them.

It seems to be a touchy subject, but I can't really see how they can support their claim that it was harder to make 4 sets for each faction and recolor them than to make 10 total sets that usually had three colorations each in the game files. Even if each ilvl bracket of Coliseum raids has its own coloration.

Season 7 is a reskinned S6 which was a reskinned S5.
Tier 9 just shows how lazy you guys have gotten

The Arena sets aren't simply re-skinned. We explained from the very beginning that the concept behind Arena gear in Wrath of the Lich King would be to start off with very simple designs and slowly add more detail to the sets over time to show who the more seasoned players are.
Designing separate sets for each faction and then recoloring each gear type for X number of classes took more development time than the standard 10-set tier cycle we've been doing. To call it lazy is simply to state your disagreement with the direction we've taken for tier-9 in a... well, lazy way.

Unless the two leather classes and the three plate classes show a lot more variation within each faction than the cloth and mail previews did, I'm not sure how that last paragraph works out. Banning you seems way overboard when they really could just offer a more detailed explanation.

I always have a very hard time feeling pity for them when they say how "hard" doing something is. With gross revenues of about 250 million US a month from subscriptions, ads, products, basic games, etc etc, you'd think they could do a LOT more with this game, like make expensions every year and such.
At the rate that they're cheaping out the game in every aspect, and butchering every major lore NPC there are, how long till this game hits a wall?

I am not sure why some people have this illusion in their heads that throwing more money at something makes more get done. Sure you can hire more sub-par developers but then you are going to get terrible expansions and patches.
