LF 1 MAGE, 1 WARLOCK, 1 DPS DK, and 1 HOLY PALADIN
______________________________________________________________
<Casual> is looking for hardcore, progression-minded raiders for 25-man content in 3.2 (Yogg +0 down, Algalon down, and A Tribute to Insanity accomplished), Icecrown, and beyond.
We have been raiding together for three years and enjoy our long-term friendships. With minimal turnover, we successfully moved from Mal'ganis to Scilla in April, 2009, for better server stability.

Background:- <Casual> is a hardcore PVE-oriented progression guild; we expect our raiders to come to raid fully prepared with the best gear, spec, and consumables in order to perform at the highest level of play.
- Founded on Mal'ganis server, we have a stable core of mature raiders who have been together since May, 2007. <Casual> plans on staying together though WotLK and beyond. In addition to raiding excellence, we have promoted a focused team atmosphere in which each other's time spent on-line is valued and made worthwhile. Not only do we have fun via our friendships, we get down to business when it counts.
- We cleared Ulduar through Yogg-Saron within the first week of patch 3.1 on Mal'ganis' unstable server, and we have enjoyed tackling hard-modes on our new home (Scilla). Our raiders frown upon nerfs, ignore potential exploits, and, once defeated, we continue to farm hard-modes on a weekly basis rather than take short-cuts. Yogg-Saron +0 keepers hard-mode (#29 US), Algalon (#52 US), Mimiron hard-mode (#38 US), Freya hard-mode (#31 US), Thorim hard-mode (#19 US), Iron Council hard-mode (#25 US), XT-002 hard-mode (#47 US), General Vezax hard-mode (#27 US), Flame Leviathan hard-mode (#78 US), and Hodir hard-mode (#3 US) have been defeated. In T9.5 content, Heroic Beasts (#1 US), Heroic Lord Jaraxxus (#1 US), Heroic Faction Champions (#1 US), Heroic Val'kyr Twins (#35 US), A Tribute to Mad Skill (#7 US), and A Tribute to Insanity (#43 US) have been defeated/accomplished, and there is much more to come.
- Recruitment is open for main raider spots, and we do not have interest in maintaining an extended list of potential back-ups. If you join our guild and fit in well, you will be an integral member of our raid and be very busy. With that in mind, we expect routine and punctual attendance.
- Most of us could care less about loot, as we plan to all get what we need to maximize our raid within due time. Our system involves a wishlist and other tangible factors. We haven't had any major loot drama in our existence, nor do we intend to have any in the future. Our focus is on competitive raiding and enjoying the interaction with those in our guild community.

Exceptional players would be considered (even though the status for that class may be 'closed')
These are our current class needs, but we will always give consideration to exceptional applicants. If you feel that you fall into this category and would like to see if we are interested, you are more than welcome to submit an application.
What we expect/look for in applicants/applications:
Your application is by far the most important step to getting in the guild. The questions below are just to help guide people, going above and beyond is perfectly acceptable and encouraged. If you do not spend very much time on your application, I won't spend much (or any) on you.
We are currently clearing Trial of the Crusader: Heroic content with only A Tribute to Insanity remaining. If you do not have gear ready to do this, we can not take you at this time. If you do not have appropriate raiding experience, we can not take you at this time. We will also expect your gear to have the best possible enchants and correct gemming, and you to have appropriate knowledge of all encounters.
With dual specialization in the game it is VERY beneficial for your application to be able to play two different specs at a very high level.
You must have two professions that are at least above 400 skill and are raid-appropriate (no Herbalism, Skinning, Mining (non-tanks), Engineering).
If you wish to proceed, you may post your application publicly, or submit it privately to an officer (Lidow, Kuroe, Renzo, or Perish). We will contact you in game/in these forums within 1-3 days if we wish to continue on with the application.
