Hello everyone, i whould like some help from someone with more Dk tanking experiance then me.

So my plan is going Frost DW Tanking, (I will log out in Tanking gear so that you can have a look at it). The Problem is i Dont know how to spec a good DW tanking spec. Help if you can, would be nice ^^

Armory Link : http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sh...szune&n=Mcugly

And the Weapons im gonna use for DW are : Peacekeeper's Blade (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47500)
AND
Teldrassil Protector: (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45076).

Also if you could maybe give a hint on other stuff that could be usefull.

Thank you.

Well im sorry if you would like to try dw tanking but what you are posting would you be pretty poor choices for tanking :S

Now alot of people are going to say NOOB dont dw tank you are going to get parry gibbed then while it is true you are going to get more parrys dw tanking then its still ALOT less then a warrior with a 1.6 weapon. No the problem is not the parry but the choice of weapon, dw tanks already got lower threat due to the lack of hit but 2 fast weapon are just going to be realy bad for your tps.

Also there is just nothing that can realy compare with the stoneskin enchant, enugh def to never need to gem or encahant, 3% avoidance and better stam stacking is just insane. You can of course tank pretty much everything atleast in normal mode and if that is all you want to do then go for it and have a blast, its just when you get rogues in abit more toc gear pulling maybe 8-9k steady dps then its going to be hard to not loose threat. Then again with the weapon you are want to use I doubt you are going to tank anything like that so just go for it :P

dw tanking is just simply not viable because there is no slow one handed tanking weapons to my knowledge. And as mention, stoneskin gargoyle enchant is simply the only way to go for a DK tank.

Well as you can see it's not unique either, whould it be good to aquire a Set of these ?

Also if 2Hand is better i do have Death's Bite with tanking rune on as well ^^

Anyhow, thanks for you're replys on this thread, whould be very kind if someone could put up a Raiding Spec for 2h Or DW tanking.

Thank you. //Mcugly

I honestly gave DW tanking a chance and i hated it, i had to sacrifice hit gems for defense just to reach cap. this was fully due to the loss of stoneskin gargoyle rune. once i switched to 2h with the rune, i was able to gem properly and be a better tank overall. just my 2 cents
